Left to cherish his memories are his spouse, Billy Dean Martin-Rich; one son, Nelson Scott Rich, II of Florida; one daughter; Tiffany Lynn Rich of Florida; one stepson, Michael Albert Hanifan; his father William Donald Rich (Patsy) of Forest City, NC; two brothers, John Mark Rich and Shawn Rich; grandsons, David Austin Rich, Benjamin Cole Rich, Donald Wayne Sturgeon, Tyler Lucas Ryan Sturgeon, and Kolton Scott Hanifan.
